The boyfriend and I had been talking about CrossFit for a couple of months. I wasn’t sold on it, I keep hearing about all the weight lifting and puking involved…as a runner I didn’t see the need for heavy weights and as a “lady” I saw no need for puking. (Note: I have not puked yet).We had planned on checking out another local CF gym but couldn’t seem to work a visit into our schedule. That’s when we found CrossFit On the Move. From Day 1 I’ve been in love with the space, the atmosphere, the daily challenge and the people.Toby is a wonderful coach, I tell him my goals and he does what it takes to help me reach them. My main purpose of joining CrossFit On the Move was to get physically fit and healthy. Since I joined, I have been getting stronger – physically and mentally. I have lost weight and I feel great. In fact, I have lost 20lbs since October and I shaved eight minutes off my last 10k race.I would not trade the CFOTM programming for any other gym. It is customized to make everyone stronger and improve endurance. I have tried other CrossFit gyms but the carefully crafted programming at CFOTM has delivered results.

I just have to say that this place has changed my life. I have been going to this gym for about 4 months and can already see real results. I currently only go 3 times a week (that is only 3 hours a week). I feel better, I look better, I have changed my outlook about food and I have developed some great friendships.This is no ordinary place to work out and you do not dread going. Every day is a different workout and it only lasts an hour. So you can get in and get out for those who have a busy schedule. The owner Toby, the trainers & the fellow CrossFitters are fantastic!! In one month with proper diet and training I have lost 14 lbs. I am finding that I have a lot more energy and even after the first two weeks my recovery time has improved after each session. I really can’t wait for the next night and to get back in the gym. The staff and other members have been great as well and do a good job of pushing you when you have an off night.
