This race has been an Atlanta Thanksgiving tradition for years. Some of us remember running along Peachtree Road that turned into Peachtree Street that eventually led to Turner Field with 1,000 other runners and only one or two spectators cheering us on (Mom was one of those two spectators). That was before half marathons became uber trendy and oh-so-chic.
